Wood, Screws, & Nails

I received this book as part of the DBML review program in exchange for an honest review. This was a very fast read! Aaron is much older and the guy he falls for is his son's best friend, Malachi. And to make the situation worse, Aaron's son doesn't know he's gay. Aaron thinks he's going to spend a summer with Julian having some bonding father-son time rebuilding a house, but then Malachi shows up and all his good intentions fly out the window. Then Julian catches them literally with their pants down and the "shit" hits the fan. Julian gets pissed that no one told him what was going on. Aaron is ashamed of his behavior. But all is well when Aaron and Julian talk.
Julian was acting like a child. I got so frustrated with Aaron for ignoring Julian's behavior. Most parents would have put a stop to it lot sooner than Aaron did.
The scenes between Aaron and Malachi were hot! They have great chemistry! I don't think it was necessarily insta-love, but they definitely connected right away. And when they got together, they burned up the sheets! It made for some very easy reading, for sure. I was a bit disappointed when I got to the end. I just wasn't ready to let these guys go.
