Behind the Curtain

Behind the Curtain - Amy Lane, Hugh Bradley Very emotional story. Maybe the narration made it worse because I listened to the audio version, but yeah. This was angsty and I don't think in all the m/m books I've read so far, I've ever encountered a MC that was so emotional with his feelings and relationships. Guys don't usually talk about their feelings. But Dawson just let it all out. No hold barred. He went into his relationship with Jared full throttle and didn't hold anything back. He was so sure of Jared's feelings for him, it's like he was carrying Jared's feelings as well. It was a bit odd.

I hope the narration was just that and wasn't an influence in what I think of this book. I feel like I've been through the ringer. It took me a while to get through this, partly because I had to put it down and focus on other stuff to get a break from the emotional angst!

Whew!
