B3 - Brooklyn's Book Bites

Sometimes no matter how good a book is, it seems to take forever to finish. I'm not sure why, but that's how this book felt. I truly enjoyed the book. Don't get me wrong. But it seems to take a long time to get through. Maybe because I usually read a book in a day or so and I didn't get much reading time this past weekend.

This book was a bit of hurt/comfort, and a whole lot of pulling my heartstrings. When I started this book, I never expected it to go the way it did. But that's exactly how life is. It never goes like you planned or how you expected.

I think that's what I loved most about this book: the unexpected turns that life throws at you, forcing you to play a hand you never thought you would.

It was long and it felt like it took forever, but it was worth the ride.
