The Christmas Throwaway

The Christmas Throwaway - Sean Crisden, RJ Scott Really sweet story. Zach leaves his family home on Christmas Eve after his father beats him up for being gay. Ben finds him sleeping on a bench outside the local church and brings him home. It turns out to be a wonderful Christmas. I enjoyed seeing Zach go from a scared kid to a somewhat confident adult. It was nice to see the younger, insecure MC be the taller one of the two. Usually the stronger MC is the larger one, so this was a nice change.

Sean Crisden narrated the audio and I enjoyed it. I've only listened to one other narration by him and didn't care for it much, so I was happy that this one was good. He did a good job with the different voices for this book.
